"For me, to perform is to practice, and to learn. The performance before the last informs on the next one; each performance is therefore a practice, a lesson, and an exercise. It is also an investigation into what to do and how to do it, and how to ask and how to answer. A true performance takes place when the performer loses control, when he takes risk, when he situates himself at risk and he becomes the medium in the process. I now make performance to reveal my current psychological state and to explore the potential of the less travelled roads."Jason Lim holds a Bachelor of Art (Hons) Degree from Central St Martins College of Art & Design, U.K. and a Master of Fine Art from Royal Melbourne Institute Technology University, Australia.
