Joakim Stampe is the project manager of Live Action Gothenburg, co-founder of the festival and of Gallery A50. He has been active as a contemporary artist for more than 25 years and has exhibited extensively in Sweden and in the Nordic countries. For the last five years Joakim Stampe has been active on the international scene in the field of performance work, presenting works at different festivals all  over the world ; Poland, Italy, Sweden, France, China, Singapore and Bangkok.

Jonas Stampe is curator and co-founder of Live Action Göteborg. He has studied theory and contemporary art history at l’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and is making  Ph.D. studies in contemporary art history at the University of Lund, Sweden. He has been active as an art critic since 1987 and was the founder and curator of  the Nordic Biennial of Contemporary Art that took place in Gothenburg in 2001 and 2003 at the art center Röda Sten (www.rodasten.se). He is also the co-founder and curator of the performance art festival Infr’Action – Festival international d’art performance in Sète, France since 2005. Jonas Stampe has since 2001 been the curator of more than 220 performance artists from over 30 countries.
In October 2008 he was elected president of the federation of Nordic organizers of performance art events Nordic Performance Art . In 2009 he was selected as one of seven international curators of the international performance art festival Open which will take place in Beijing in autumn 2009. Jonas Stampe is also one of three curators of the exhibition Europe-China : Crossover & Exchange which will tour to Chongqing,  Manchester, Gothenburg and Montpellier in 2009/2010. Furthermore, he is the curator and organizer of the event Nordic Performance @ PERFORMA, New York which will present 12 Scandinavian performance artists in New York in November 2009.
